Rules and Regulations - 2004 Senior Tour:

1) By registering as a Senior Tour Member, you are stating that you have read, understand and agree to comply with all of the rules as set forth by the Senior Tour which govern play, tournament conditions, and the standing policies of the competition committee of the Senior Tour.
2) It is the sole responsibility of the player to make sure he/she is an active Senior Tour player for the current event. The Senior Tour uses an "open pairings" system. Remember all rounds are to be played online. Every e-mail with a submitted score MUST have the numeric total of the round in the subject line (68, 69, 70, 71, etc.) as well as the player's name (tour handle).
3) Each player must post one 18 hole score a week: round #1 scores must be submitted by midnight sunday of the first week of the tournament, round #2 scores submitted the second week, etc.. Tournaments will consist of 2 rounds over 13 days.
4) All rounds will be played from the Black Tees using the predetermined conditions as set forth by the Tour (see rule number 5). Strokes allowed per hole MUST be set at 15 or more. Failure to comply with these conditions will be considered cheating, and will not be allowed. Disqualification from the current event, and suspension from the next event could be imposed if this is found to have happened. If it happens a second time, the Senior Tour member will be banned from all future events.
5) Players can use either the MEDIUM, FAST or VERY FAST swing meter speed during tournament rounds. Each player is responsible for checking the conditions of the round. To verify the conditions used while playing the tournament round, go into the PREFERENCES menu and click on the ADVANCED tab. While holding the SHIFT key down, click on VERIFY GAME. A box will appear telling you information regarding the conditions, players, etc.
6) All scores and tour registration for upcoming events shall be e-mailed to theseniortour@comcast.net. Players MUST meet all deadlines for submitting round scores. Scores for the final round must be received by 11:55pm Eastern Standard Time on the last day of the tournament. There will be NO exceptions.
7) If a game becomes locked, or a player is disconnected during play, the remaining Member will note the total score of each player up to the point of the last hole completed by both Members. When play has resumed, the previously played holes will keep the score from the interrupted round, and scoring will begin again at the first hole that had not yet been completed until the round is finished. If disconnection continues to be a problem, the Senior Tour may consider accepting a score submitted with spotter confirmation.
8) In the event of a tie for 1st place, an e-mail will be sent to the Members involved, and a Sudden Death Playoff MUST be completed by 11:55pm Eastern Standard Time the day after the event is to be completed or the event will be considered a tie. The conditions for the Sudden Death Playoff will be the same as the final round. The first player to record a lower hole score than their opponent on any given hole wins the Sudden Death Playoff. If the Sudden Death Playoff is not completed for any reason, the prize money will be equally split among the players tied for the lead in the same manner as is done for ties in lower positions.
9) All players must be 40 years of age or older to be eligible to play. Senior players of both sexes are welcome to participate.
10) The Senior Tour no longer requires a saved game file to be submitted for the verification of each and every round.

11)  Concerning the Super Seniors Division, The player must be 60 years of age or older to play in the Super Seniors. Any tour Player between the ages of 40 to 59 must play in the regular Seniors division.  The players 60 and older have the option of playing in either division, however, must choose the division they want to play in before the first tourney of the season that they participate in.  Once they choose their division, they must remain in that division for the remainder of the current season.  To choose their division, players 60 and older should designate what division they intend to play in the e-mail they send the tour with the score post for the first round of their first tourney of the season.  After that first score post declaring division only scores need be posted.  The tour will keep a current list of Super Seniors to cross reference to.  Super Seniors will play from the same tees and with the same conditions as the seniors.  There will also be a separate leaderboard, money list, and averages for Super Seniors.  All other rules that normally apply to Seniors, will apply to Super Seniors as well.

12) And most importantly, Have fun, and Hit 'Em Long and Straight!
